DALE

Lover of red wine, middle earth, rock music and travel. I started out my career in photography through a local music magazine in Canberra, Australia. After buying my first camera straight out of high school I spent every spare hour online learning from the mentors I look up to.

I've worked full time as a photographer for the last 10 years and have opened up a photography & video business here in Queenstown, New Zealand. I now specialise in a unique style of hybrid coverage, shooting photography and video simultaneously at various events, commercial clients and weddings. The creative industry is such a versatile profession to work in that I can use my skills and experience in any niche.

It's an exciting time to be working in this industry, so I cant wait to hear from you and help you out with your next project. No assignment is too big or too small as I cant say no to a challenge!

JANE

I drink tea, read Jodi Picoult novels, prefer rainy days over sunny ones, and bake mostly on weekends. I am a mum of two adorably cheeky boys. So now I get to enjoy the boy-mum life for every mud-throwing, truck-smashing, sword-fighting moment it brings.

I believe photography is more than seeing the beauty of a moment and freezing it in time. It is about capturing the feelings and emotions within that moment. It’s seeing a sunset on a beach and feeling the warmth. Or seeing a glance before the ‘I do’s” and feeling the love story that lead to it. It’s the laughs and giggles under a water sprinkler and feeling a child’s joy.

My love of photography began when I completed my first wedding alongside Asger as his second-shooter. In fact, it wasn’t even the fun and excitement of the entire day that hooked me. It was the candid snap I took of the bride. Amongst a small forest of trees, the afternoon sun shining between the branches was casting a golden glow around the bridal party. While coordinating the party together in a group, the bride was distracted by how the sun was filtering through her dress. She lifted her skirt, looking down over her shoulder to watch it dance in the light. Standing to the side unnoticed, I focused my camera and caught the moment - the look on her face was pure joy.

After that, I loved spending time taking photos with Dale, learning from him, but also finding my own creative interests behind a camera lens.

I hope I can find the magic in your day, so that when you look back over the photos years from now, you will remember exactly how you felt in that moment.

If I sound like your cup of tea (oh yes, I also enjoy a good pun-joke), then let me know if you fancy a chat and a chance to get to know me better.

Talk soon xx
